California Electrician PrepCertification, exam and code, in one place

Privacy Policy

What California Electrician Prep collects, which is very little, and what happens to it. Effective 5 September 2026.

The short version

No account, no tracking cookies, no advertising. Reading the site sends us nothing but the ordinary server logs any website receives. Your study progress stays in your own browser. The only personal data we ever hold is an email address you choose to give us.

What is collected and why

Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host it records the address, the page requested, the time and the browser type for security and to keep the site running. We do not combine those logs with anything else and do not use them to identify readers.

Study progress on your device. Scores, saved calculator inputs and anything else you save are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never leave your device, we cannot read them, and clearing your browser data removes them.

The email list. If you type your email address into a sign-up box, it is stored by Resend, the service that sends our mail, in a list for this site, and you get one welcome note. Every message we send carries a way to stop them, and unsubscribing removes you from that list. We do not sell, rent or share the list.

Email you send us. If you write to us about a correction or a problem, we keep that correspondence to deal with it and to keep the corrections log accurate.

Purchases. Stripe takes the payment and holds the payment record. We never see or store your card number. What we keep is a one-way fingerprint of the email address used to claim a team seat, which answers the question "has this person already claimed a seat" and cannot be turned back into an address. No mailing list can be produced from it.

What is not collected

No analytics cookies, no advertising or social media trackers, no fingerprinting, no location beyond what a server log shows, and nothing from anyone under thirteen on purpose. The site is written for adults preparing for a professional license.

Who sees the data

Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email) and Stripe (payment) process data for us under their own terms. We disclose personal data only when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and have not sold it.

Your California privacy rights

We do not sell or share personal information. We have not sold or shared personal information in the last twelve months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under sixteen. There is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on this site because there is nothing to opt out of.

What we collect. One category only, and only if you hand it over: an email address, which is an identifier. It is collected to send you the newsletter you asked for or the summary you asked us to email, it comes from you and from nobody else, and it is disclosed only to Resend, which sends the mail for us. We keep it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We do not collect sensitive personal information and we do not use personal information for profiling or automated decision making.

Your rights. You may ask what we hold about you and where it came from, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to support@trojandigitalmarketing.com from the address in question, or write to Trojan Digital Marketing, 9465 Counselors Row, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46240. We answer within forty five days and we will tell you if we need longer. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask you to confirm that in writing.

We honor a request from anyone who asks. These rights are written into California law for California residents and we do not check where you live before honoring one. We do not deny service, charge a different price or give a lower quality of service to anyone who exercises them.

Shine the Light. California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets a California resident ask what personal information a business shared with third parties for their direct marketing. We share none, and that is the answer to any such request.

Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe with the link in any message. Delete your local progress by clearing your browser data. To see, correct or delete the email address we hold, or to ask what we hold, write to support@trojandigitalmarketing.com and we answer within forty five days. Residents of states with privacy laws that grant access, correction, deletion or opt-out rights may exercise them the same way; we do not discriminate for doing so.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS and the servers hold no customer database. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected people if we learn of a breach involving their data.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version with a new date. Questions: support@trojandigitalmarketing.com.
